Day 01: Arrival and Transfer to Hotel Ruch, Kampala

lionOn arrival to Entebbe International airport, you will meet our driver guide who will thereafter transfer you to Hotel Ruch for an overnight on Bed and Breakfast Basis. This hotel is located in the heart of Kampala city, Uganda’s capital city located about 35km from Entebbe International Airport.

Day 02: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

You will start long and panoramic cruise to the North West of the country with safari guide to Murchison Falls National Park through the famous Luwero triangle. En route visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for the Rhino experience; this is the only home for the Rhinos in the wild in Uganda. Enjoy your rhino tracking experience and thereafter proceed to Masindi town for lunch. You will then enter the park in the evening for an evening top of the falls hike at the Murchison falls where River Nile explodes violently forming a very powerful waterfall. Watch waves of water tumble hypnotically in this six meter chasm and feel the rock shake beneath your feet. Day 03: Game drive and Boat cruise at Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, go for a game drive in the park where you will be able to view different animal species that may include Buffaloes, Elephants, leopards, lions, Giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, bushbucks, Uganda kob, water bucks, warthogs, and many other animal species with a vast variety of bird species that can be spotted during the game drive.

In the afternoon, return for lunch and thereafter proceed for the bottom of the falls boat cruise. The boat cruise take you closer to the majestic Murchison falls, this is a very perfect place for you to take photographs. At the comfort of your boat, you will be able to view different animal species such as lots of hippos, crocodiles, and elephants and also different bird species. Day 04: Transfer to Kibale National park

After breakfast head to Kibale National park the primate’s capital of the world, the park is a home to man’s closest relatives the chimpanzees as well as other 30 primate species that include the black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and different bird species, butterflies and more. Day 05: Chimpanzee tracking at Kibale forest National Park

After breakfast, proceed for briefing at Kachungira the park headquarters escorted by the guides and thereafter start your chimp tracking experience. During the trekking you may spot other primates like white colobus monkeys, as well as different bird species. After the chimp tracking experience proceed to Tinka’s home for lunch cuisine served in a traditional way, thereafter go for a swamp walk at Bigodi sanctuary where you will see different bird species as White-spotted Flufftail, Yellow-spotted Barbet, Hairy-breasted Barbet, Yellow-billed Barbet, Western Nicator, Grey-winged Robin-chat, White-tailed Ant-thrush, Black-and-white Shrike-flycatcher, Brown-throated Wattle-eye, Brown-crowned Tchagra, Bocage’s Bush-shrike and White-breasted Negro finch, and rare Papyrus Gonolek, White-winged Warbler, White-collared Oliveback and Papyrus Canary as well as different monkey species. Day 06: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Uganda and is one of the oldest national parks in the country. This park has got different animal species such as the Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes and many more, including different bird species. You will enter the park through the northern crater area for the sunset game drives where you will encounter different animals and bird species. Day 07: Game drive and boat on the Kazinga channel.

You will have breakfast then go for an early morning drive for of well-maintained tracks. Here you may encounter different animal species herds of Uganda Kobs, the lions, lots grazers as African elephants, hippos and many others in the shady plains of the park.

In the afternoon, you will go for an afternoon, boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward.  On the calm cruise expect seeing interesting species that inhabit the park such as enormous hippos, Nile crocodiles and buffalos just meters with over hundreds of bird species and elephants linger on the shoreline providing the park’s prime wildlife spectacle on this stretch. Day 08: Ishasha sector, Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your morning breakfast, you will have a game drive in the park en route to the remote Ishasha sector south of the park with famous tree climbing lions. This woodland sector is located in the southern part of the park. Upon arrival, you will check in at Enjojo Lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation, thereafter have a sunset game drive in the park in search for these tree climbing lions. Day 09: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest

You will start this day with an early morning game drive in the park in search for the tree climbing lions. You will thereafter return to the lodge for breakfast and preparations before being transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. This park is a home to over half of the worlds remaining population of the rare mountain Gorillas. Day 10: Mountain Gorilla tracking at Bwindi

You will be accompanied by the guide to the park headquarters for the briefing at 08:00hrs after breakfast well equipped with your packed lunch. You will then be divided into groups depending on the Gorilla family you have been allocated to track, thereafter proceed in to the forest and start your Gorilla tracking experience following the trails in the forest. During the Gorilla tracking experience, you may also encounter other different primate species as well as a variety of bird species.

Once the Gorillas have been tracked, you will be given one hour of interaction and snapshots and videos clips of these giant and gentle Gorillas. This is truly a rewarding experience you will live to remember. Day 11: Transfer from Bwindi Back to Entebbe for International flight

This day we will have breakfast early in the morning and set off back to Entebbe passing via the beautiful Kigezi highlands commonly referred to as the Switzerland of Africa. You will have a stopover for lunch and photographs at the Equator, thereafter proceed to Karibu Guest House Entebbe for a farewell dinner and an overnight stay

Day 12: Transfer to the airport

After breakfast this morning, you will prepare for a transfer to the airport for your international flight.
