Detailed program

Day 01(17th June, 2018): Arrival and transfer  

Upon arrival at the airport you will meet our safari guide who will thereafter transfer you to Karibu Guest House Entebbe for an overnight stay (Bed and Breakfast basis).

Day 02 (18th June, 2018): Transfer to Murchison falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison falls National Park passing via Kampala the capital city of Uganda through Luwero district the land well-known for pineapple growing. You will continue to one of Uganda’s pride when it comes to wildlife, beautiful scenery that is greatly while in the park. En route to the park, you will pass via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the Rhino tracking experience giving you an opportunity of tracking the Rhinos at a close distance. You will thereafter proceed into the park and check in at Pakuba safari lodge for Dinner and overnight (Fallboard basis).

Day 03 (19th June, 2018): Morning game drives, boat and top of the falls hike.

After breakfast, you will head to the park for a morning game drive in the delta region with its rolling plains where you will have an opportunity of meeting different animals like Giraffe, warthogs, buffalo, elephants, to mention but a few. Later in the afternoon after lunch you will head for the boat to the bottom of the falls, during the cruise, you will be able to meet the Nile crocodiles at the shores of the Nile River, big pools of hippos, elephants and many other animals that come to the river to sip some water. You will later proceed for the top of the falls hike, an activity you wouldn’t love to miss out. Upon reaching the top you will enjoy the spectacular view of the falls as pass through the narrow paths between rocks making explosions that make thunderous roar forming rainbow displays hence making an astonishing beauty for the eyes. You will later decline to Pakuba safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay. (Full board basis).

Day 04(20th June, 2018): Morning Nile delta boat and sunset game drives

After breakfast, you will be transferred for the Nile delta boat cruise for an encounter with different animals and bird species including the rare shoebill stork that may also be spotted.  Later in the afternoon, you will prepare for the sunset game drives where you will be able to meet different animals which include Giraffe, Lions, Elephant, Buffalo and Hartebeest, as well as many of the other mammals of the park that include the baboons found near the ferry crossing points. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Pakuba safari lodge (Full board basis).

Day 05 (21st June, 2018): Transfer to Kibale National Park.

After breakfast you will check out of Bakers lodge and then you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National park commonly known as the capital for the primates due to the its highest concentration of the primates species. It is also a home to one of man’s closet relatives the chimpanzees and also other primate species and bird species. Upon arrival you will check in at Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and overnight stay (Full board basis).

Day 06 (22nd June, 2018): Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon Bigodi swamp walk

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kanyanchu tourist center for briefing, orientation and allocating the ranger guide before setting off for the chimpanzee tracking experience. You will thereafter enter the forest following the trails in search for the Man’s closest relatives, the chimpanzees.  Aside from the Chimpanzees, the incredibly diverse forest is home to over 13 species of primates including the rare L’Hoest, red Colobus monkey, blue monkey, black faced vervet monkeys, grey mangabey, pottos, baboons and also bush babies.  A network of shady forest trails provides much to delight botanists and butterfly lovers, while birders are in for a treat with about 335 species recorded including the endemic Prirogrine’s ground thrush.

Later in the afternoon, you will go for the Bigodi swamp walk and birding experience with chances of meeting different bird species including the rare papyrus Gonolek that may be spotted. You may also encounter primates such as the black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys and red tailed monkeys. Later in the evening, you will return to Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and overnight stay (Full board basis).

Day 07 (23rd June, 2018): Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park one of Uganda’s Premier Destinations when it comes to wildlife. The journey to the park will be complimented with the Fascinating view of the landscapes. Upon arrival you will check in at Bush Lodge freshen up and later prepare for a sunset game drive. This will give you an opportunity of meeting different animal species as they come back from their days work. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay on Full board basis.

Day 08 (24th June, 2018): Game drives and boat on Kazinga Channel.

You will   have breakfast then go for an early morning drive on well-maintained tracks where you may see the great herds of Uganda Kobs, the retiring nocturnal as lions, lots grazers as African elephants, hippos and many others in the shady plains of the park in the Kasenyi area. In the afternoon, you will conduct boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward.  On the calm cruise expect seeing interesting species that inhabit the park such as enormous hippos, Nile crocodiles and buffalos just meters with over hundreds of bird species and elephants linger on the shoreline providing the park’s prime wildlife on spectacle stretch. You will return to the Bush Lodge for dinner and overnight stay (Full board basis).

Day 09 (25th June, 2018): Transfer to Isasha Sector.

This day you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector where you may encounter the tree climbing lions as well as lots of other animal species such as elephants, buffaloes, Kobs and many more. Upon arrival, you will check in at Enjojo lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the evening, you will go for the sunset game drives at the Ishasha sector. Explore the park to its best with chances of meeting different animals and bird species. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Enjojo Lodge (Full board basis).

Day 10 (26th June, 2018): Full day game viewing.

On this day after breakfast, you will conduct a full day game viewing were you may encounter the tree climbing lions as well as lots of other animal species such as elephants, buffaloes, kobs and also appreciate nature at its best. Later you will have a lunch break and then prepare for sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Enjojo Lodge (Full board basis).

Day 11 (27th June, 2018): Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park

After breakfast you will head to the park for an early morning game drive where you explore the park to the fullest giving you an opportunity of meeting different animals like lions and also taking photographs you will thereafter return to the lodge for preparations and an early lunch before being transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Upon arrival to the park, you will check in at Rushaga Gorilla Camp for dinner and overnight stay (Full Board basis).

Day 12 (28th June, 2018): Gorilla tracking experience and afternoon batwa.

You will be accompanied by the guide to the park headquarters for the briefing at 08:00hrs after breakfast well equipped with your packed lunch. You will then be divided into groups depending on the Gorilla family you have been allocated to track, thereafter proceed in to the forest and start your Gorilla tracking experience following the trails in the forest. During the Gorilla tracking experience, you may also encounter other different primate species as well as a variety of bird species.

Once the Gorillas have been tracked, you will be given one hour of interaction and snapshots and videos clips of these giant and gentle Gorillas. This is truly a rewarding experience you will live to remember. After tracking the Gorillas, you will proceed for the Batwa experience. These indigenous communities have very unique ways of life. They will exhibit their hunting, food gathering skills as well as their general way of life. Later in the evening you will return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 13 (29th June 2018): Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a canoe ride

This day, you will prepare for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful places in the world. You will pass via the beautiful Kigezi highlands with several spots to take beautiful pictures. Upon arrival, you will have a canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi, thereafter proceed for dinner and overnight stay at Birdnest Lodge (FB)

Day 14 (30th June, 2018): Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

This day, you will prepare for a transfer to Lake Mburo national park passing via the beautiful Kigezi highlands. You will have a stopover for lunch at Mbarara town for lunch, thereafter proceed into the park for sunset game drives. You may encounter different animal species such as the Zebras, Impalas, Buffaloes, Elands and many more. Later in the evening, dinner and overnight stay will be at Rwakobo Rock Lodge (Full board basis).

Day 15 (01st Jul, 2018): Game drives and boat on Lake Mburo

On this day after breakfast, you will conduct a full day game drive were you will get close to nature and an encounter of different animals such as Zebras, Impalas, Buffaloes, Elands to mention but a few. You will return to the Lodge for lunch and then prepare for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo for an encounter with the Crocodiles, Hippos, many bird species as well as the local fishermen. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Rwakobo Rock Lodge (Full board basis).

Day 16 (02nd Jul 2018): Morning Bush walk and transfer to Entebbe

You will start this day with an early morning guided nature walk with a close-up experience with many animals and bird species found in the park. You will thereafter return to the lodge for breakfast and preparations for a transfer to Entebbe. En route, you will have a stopover at the Equator for lunch cnd photographs, thereafter proceed to Entebbe for an overnight stay at Karibu Guest House (BB)

Day 17 (03rd Jul 2018): Morning excursion to Mabamba wetlands for birding experience

This day, you will be transferred to Mabamba wetlands to search for the rare shoebill stork by canoe. Many other bird species will be spotted during the birding experience. Later in the afternoon, you will visit the Entebbe botanical grdens for birding experience. Overnight stay will be at Karibu GH (BB)

Day 18 (04th Jul 2018): Transfer to the airport for outbound flight

This day, you will prepare for a transfer to the airport for your outbound flight
