Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Housing over half of the world’s remaining population of the rare mountain Gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the best safari destination for visitors to Uganda. At a Size of approximately 321km2 and an altitude of 1,160m – 2,607m above sea level, Bwindi was gazetted as a National Park in 1991 and declared a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in 1994. With four sectors to track the Gorillas (Buhoma, Ruhijja, Rushaga and Nkuringo), this park offers visitors an excellent Gorilla tracking experience with over an hour to be spent with the great apes once they have been tracked.

Spending about an hour with the Gorillas gives you an opportunity to take as many pictures/ videos as possible, learn animal behavior and a lot more.
